The deaerator will be provided to heat the boiler feed water and also to remove air for deaeration of condensable gases mainly oxygen from boiler feed water. The deaerator will be pressurized direct contact spray and tray type. The operating pressure of the deaerator will be controlled in order to limit the oxygen content in the boiler feed water. The deaerator will be provided with a storage tank for storing the feed water for 30 minutes of boiler operation on 100% MCR load. The steam required for heating the feed water will be drawn from the bleeding of turbine. The loss of boiler feed water will be compensated from the make from the DM plant.
