This is required for cooling down the circulating water, which gets heated in condenser,
oil cooler and the air cooler of alternator. This water is cooled down by atomization
principles by spray system and the induced drift is created by blower capacity required is
2300 m3/hr. More than 1900 m3/hr. of cooling water will be required in condenser and
rest 400 m3/hr. will be needed for other utilities.
During cooling process there is loss of water due to drift & evaporation, which has to be
made up by adding make up water in this system. |
